The first spark.
As a young soul, I was drawn to the alluring whispers of self-expression. Even before I fully understood the intricacies of communication, I knew that it was my calling. My journey began with a childish game, a Mickey Mouse cassette tape recorder shared with my brother, as we spun our own radio show for an audience of our imagination. The joy it brought me was inexplicable, and I knew deep down that this was just the beginning of my story.
As I blossomed into adolescence, I ventured into the realm of fictional audio skits and voice over clips, crafted with my trusty but humble USB microphone. These snippets were passed around at school, and my peers started asking me to perform for them using a range of character voices. Those are moments I’ll forever cherish the memory of, because that initial surge of positive energy and encouragement sparked other creative fires in my life — I began recording original songs using the beautifully verbose art of Rap, found myself acting on stage in the escapist arms of theatre, and nourished my flair for language through the vocabulary-expanding practices of reading and writing.
The voice of passion.
Today, I find myself in an upgraded home studio, equipped with professional tools that refine my skills and elevate my craft toward mastery within the realm of the spoken arts. My reasons for pursuing this passion remain unchanged, as I still yearn to express myself, to paint with the colors of creativity, to release stress through artistic flair, and to pour my heart into every opportunity I get to immortalize my voice into recorded format.
Creative expression is my love, so it was a no-brainer for me to make it my profession!
